They are a group of classmates who keep their teachers and parents on their toes. One is always asking “Why?”, another secretly draws during class; someone fills their pockets with stones, leaves, and mysterious little bugs; and someone cannot resist running out to investigate the moment something happens on the playground.

To grown-ups, these may seem like problems. To the children, they are simply things worth doing right away. They will stop for a fallen beetle, share a snack with a classmate who forgot lunch, and help a friend figure out how to clean up after a mishap. Their plans may sometimes leave the classroom in a mess, but none of them leaves a friend behind.

The Animal Classmates are not perfect, and they are in no hurry to become obedient. They are innocent, kind, and wholehearted in their love for the world and for one another.
